You’ll need
- 2 tbsp Nandan South Special (filter grind)
- 120 ml hot water
- Hot milk, to taste
- 1–2 tsp grated jaggery (or jaggery syrup)
- A pinch of crushed cardamom
-
A tiny pinch of dry ginger powder (optional)
Method
- Brew a strong filter coffee decoction using hot water.
- While hot, stir in jaggery until dissolved.
- Add a pinch of cardamom (and ginger, if using).
- Mix with hot milk in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio.
-
Serve hot.
Why it works
The bold robusta notes stand up beautifully to jaggery and spice, while chocolate and roasted nut flavours keep the cup grounded and comforting.
