Spiced Jaggery Filter Coffee

You’ll need

  • 2 tbsp Nandan South Special (filter grind)
  • 120 ml hot water
  • Hot milk, to taste
  • 1–2 tsp grated jaggery (or jaggery syrup)
  • A pinch of crushed cardamom
  • A tiny pinch of dry ginger powder (optional)

Method

  1. Brew a strong filter coffee decoction using hot water.
  2. While hot, stir in jaggery until dissolved.
  3. Add a pinch of cardamom (and ginger, if using).
  4. Mix with hot milk in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio.
  5. Serve hot.

Why it works

The bold robusta notes stand up beautifully to jaggery and spice, while chocolate and roasted nut flavours keep the cup grounded and comforting.
