Some collaborations feel inevitable. When Mami’s cult-favourite tiramisu met Nandan’s specialty coffee, a one-day pop-up was the natural result.
Hosted at our café, the event brought together two craft-driven brands with a shared philosophy: small batches, high quality, and experiences that feel personal.
The Ask
Create a one-day, high-demand pop-up that could handle large crowds while preserving an intimate, premium experience.
With limited portions available and no pre-orders, the challenge was to manage demand smoothly while maintaining regular café operations.
Our Approach
We designed a structured service flow to keep the experience fair, efficient, and enjoyable:
- Numbered coupons distributed to guests in queue
- Limited purchases per person
- Separate lines for pop-up guests and regular café orders
- Controlled entry in small groups
-
Dine-in and takeaway options
But just as important was the experience outside the café.
Long queues were expected, so we transformed the wait into part of the event itself — handing out fans, serving coffee samples, and playing music to keep the atmosphere lively and comfortable. What could have been a long wait became a social, energetic prelude to the pop-up.
The Experience
Guests enjoyed freshly served tiramisu paired with Nandan coffee — a combination that felt indulgent yet comforting.
Inside, the café remained warm and relaxed, with many visitors staying back to savour their dessert alongside a carefully brewed cup.
The pop-up ran until stock sold out, reinforcing the sense of occasion and exclusivity.
The Outcome
More than a product drop, the event became a gathering point for the community — from the lively queue outside to the buzzing café within. We served 250 customers in the span of 3 hours; where the collaboration showed how thoughtful planning and aligned values can turn even a single day into a memorable experience.
