A Wedding Designed Around Coffee — and Two Very Loved Dogs

Some of our most meaningful events begin at the café counter. This wedding was one of them.

When one of our regulars asked us to create the coffee experience for their celebration, the brief was clear: make it personal. Not just a coffee stall, but an extension of the café they loved — complete with thoughtful details, signature drinks, and appearances from Nyla and Sherkhan, their dogs and frequent visitors to Nandan.

The Ask

The family wanted a multi-bar beverage experience that could serve 300–450 guests while still feeling intimate.

The setup included:

• A full specialty espresso bar
• Dedicated tea and matcha bars
• Custom drinks for the bride and groom
• An affogato dessert experience

Our Approach

We designed a layered service that evolved through the evening — from high-tea style offerings to late-night comfort drinks.

Guests could choose from classic café favourites, specialty coffees inspired by global traditions, ceremonial matcha, curated teas, and indulgent desserts.

Personalisation at Every Touchpoint

What made this event truly special was the level of customisation.

• Custom apron embroidery for the team
• Signature drinks created just for the couple based on their travels

The dogs appeared on cup stickers, stall graphics, and embroidered details — a small touch that guests loved.

The Outcome

More than a catering setup, the coffee bars became a gathering space. Guests returned for second cups, conversations lingered, and the experience felt unmistakably personal.
